First Review and Nerves

I gave a couple of people ARC of LARK and today I read my first review! This review made my day! It's a very exciting thing to know that there are people out there who love your story.

It's a scary thing letting people read something so personal. I've spent the last year working on LARK and I love it of course, if I didn't I wouldn't have written it, but now that I'm putting it out there for the world to see (read), it makes me feel extremely vulnerable.  I'm a huge bundle of nerves these days and it hasn't even been officially published yet! Can you imagine how I'll feel on R-day (Release-day)?? I'm going to be a mess!

I know my story is not going to be everybody's cup of tea. I know this and I've accepted it. If we all liked the same things the world would be a very boring place. But if there are people out there who love it as much as I do, I'll consider that a success!

And when I do get my first bad review, I hope that I remember the good ones and smile.

P.S. I'm planning on posting Sneak Peek #3 soon so stay tuned! :)

Nightingale: Spellbinding YA book about witches

Today I received an email letting me know that NIGHTINGALE has been included in a recently published wiki: Spellbinding YA Books About Witches!
If I'm honest, Nightingale is my favorite out of the books set in the Lark universe so I was very excited to see it getting some love finally!

Here's what they said about NIGHTINGALE:

"At #3  is "Nightingale" by Erica Cope. Wren Fairchild has no memory of who she is or how she ended up in a Light Elf kingdom. She eventually meets Greyson St Clair, the Consul to Queen Mia of Ãlfheimr. He doesn't trust Wren, but in order to learn more about her true nature, he'll have to help her regain her memories. Together, the pair must travel to the one place that can reveal the truth about the past, unraveling shocking secrets along the way."

Cover Reveal: Somewhere Between Falling

Tamsin Seger knows there is no such thing as happily-ever-afters in real life. After her father's humiliating scandal forced her into the spotlight, the last thing she wants is more drama in her life.
Then she meets Tobias Clark.
What she never expected was to spend a perfect day with a perfect stranger, and even though it goes against everything she had resolved to do, falling for Tobias was easy.  Or at least that's what she thought until she sees him again and he ends up being the last person she needs him to be.
If Tamsin wants to escape another scandal, she has to stay away from Tobias at all costs--but some things are easier said than done and there’s a reason they say the heart wants, what the heart wants.

M.I.A as usual!

Hello everyone! I realize that I have been M.I.A. As most of you probably know I have been in grad school the last two years and it's been pretty time-consuming. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! I graduate in December and after this semester (which has been particularly challenging), it should be smooth sailing until graduation day!

I am still writing. Not nearly as often as I once did because in addition to being a mom, a teacher, and a cheer coach, I am also a student. Whenever I can squeeze it in though I am writing! I finished a chapter tonight which prompted me to realize that I haven't updated my website in I don't even know how long.

I'd say I'll try to do better but let's be honest, I've said that before!

I have two solo WIP...THESE BROKEN DREAMS and SOMEWHERE BETWEEN FALLING. Both are very different from each other so that's kind of fun. Autumn and I also have a little something in the works but her life is just as hectic as …
