Lark 2nd Edition

Komal helped me (ok, she actually did it FOR me) re-format LARK. She went above and beyond and now the paperback is going to be all fancy and stuff. And since I was going to have to re-upload it anyway I made a slight adjustment to a particular scene. You see, I read every review, the good and the bad and I've noticed at least two of them say that I was inconsistent with Grey's age. Grey tells Mia he was 170 when she was born and since she is 17 years old when Lark takes place I assumed people would realize that he is now 187, right? Well, I guess some people missed that information so here is how I adjusted it: "You are freakin' 200-years-old!" "Mia, I was 170 when you were born. That makes me only 187-years-old now," he responds matter-of-factly. " Only ," I scoff. "Do you have any idea how weird that is?"   I don't think that it effects the story but hopefully helps to clear up that small detail. :) I've uploa

Downton Abbey, "In the Shadows" Progress and my Thyroid

Hey folks! How's that for a title? LOL First, I freaking LOVE Downton Abbey. I started it this weekend and watched seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 isn't availble online any more unless I buy it and I'm sorta cheap so I'm going to check the library first. But if I have to wait too long I'll have to give in and pay Amazon $1.99 an episode. As much as I love Amazon (hello! They sell my books!) I'm pretty disappointed that they bought the rights to Downton Abbey. It won't be available on Netflix at all after July 1st. I know, I know. Sad story. But seriously, the ending of the last episode of season 2 was amazing! I heart Matthew! I can't wait to see what happens next! Anyway, I made some progress with In the Shadows (like doubled my current word count progress! Wahoo!). If I continue at this pace I think it will definitely be possible to have a first draft finished in June. My original goal was to have it written by June 1st then my husband decided to act lik

Authorgraph

Komal asked me to put my book on Authorgraph the other day so because I love her, I did. I had heard of it before but never really paid much attention. It's actually really neat! My signature looks AWFUL on it but it's still pretty awesome (if you can look past my poor penmenship anyway. You know those electronic thingies you have to sign when you get your prescriptions filled at the pharamacy or buy something using your debit/credit card and they make you sign for it? Yeah, this is way worse. At least you can use a psuedo-pen with those things, I had to use my mouse to sign my signature for Authorgraph. I don't even have a real mouse! I write on a laptop! LOL) So, ANYWAY, my point is that if you are interested, I can sign your ebook versions of Lark now! Just click on this link: http://www.authorgraph.com/authors/EricaCope3  and it should take you there. Request my authorgraph and I will write you a personal message (but I'm not very good at that sort of thi

In the Shadows (Lark #2)

I have a blurb to share with you now and hopefully a cover soon. I hope you guys are excited about this as I am! In the Shadows (Lark #2)   Mia Carrington is struggling to come to terms with the fact that she killed a man, while trying to find a balance between her role as the Princess of the Light Elves and attempting to lead the life of a normal human teenager. Too bad her dual life doesn't come with an instruction manual. Just when she thinks that fate can't throw anything else at her, the Duchess Isobel is found on the brink of death and Mia’s boyfriend Jacoby is the only suspect.   Despite the suspicion surrounding him, Mia is sure of the innocence of the boy she loves and she is determined to prove it no matter the risk. The problem is, the one thing that can save Isobel and clear Jacoby can only be found in the shadows of the Underworld.   Oh boy. You can add it on Goodreads and I'm aiming to have it released by the end of the year.
