Just for fun....

As ya'll know, I was in the middle of writing a contemporary romance before deciding to put it on hold and concentrate on the sequel to Lark (due to popular demand! LOL I still can't really wrap my head around the fact that there are people who are WAITING for my next book. It's surreal! I like it!).

Anyway, It's about a girl who doesn't really know who she is after her long-term boyfriend breaks up with her and a guy who is so wrong for her, he might be just what she needs. It's tentatively called Fall Into Me (but I titled it that before all the other Fall, Fallen, Falling books came out this year so now I'm considering changing it but once something gets stuck in my head, it's hard to change. I'm stubborn like that, so it will probably stay the same).

Even though I'm only about 3/4 of the way through writing it, I thought I might start throwing out some random quotes for ya'll just for fun!

I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of the year so in the meantime, here you go:

I shot him an accusing look, unsure whether I should be happy that he didn’t divulge our dirty little secret or pissed that he chose to cast me as a damsel in distress. I was most definitely not in need of rescuing and he surely was no Prince Charming.

Paper Flowers

It all started as a game—a game I never lost.
Cami Andrews is a girl on a mission. She’s a girl with a plan.
A three-step plan, to be exact, and it hasn’t failed her yet.
Her best friend Oliver doesn’t approve of the games she plays.
He is a boy unwaveringly loyal. Loyal to a fault, but his patience is running thin.
When Cami sees Peyton Holmes for the first time she knows that she wants him to be her next conquest, and when Cami sets her sights on something, she never fails. Not in life and certainly not in love. She always gets what she wants, even if she has to adjust her personality a little in the process. It might test her friendship with Oliver, but that’s a chance she’s willing to take.

Nightingale: Spellbinding YA book about witches

Today I received an email letting me know that NIGHTINGALE has been included in a recently published wiki: Spellbinding YA Books About Witches!
If I'm honest, Nightingale is my favorite out of the books set in the Lark universe so I was very excited to see it getting some love finally!

Here's what they said about NIGHTINGALE:

"At #3  is "Nightingale" by Erica Cope. Wren Fairchild has no memory of who she is or how she ended up in a Light Elf kingdom. She eventually meets Greyson St Clair, the Consul to Queen Mia of Álfheimr. He doesn't trust Wren, but in order to learn more about her true nature, he'll have to help her regain her memories. Together, the pair must travel to the one place that can reveal the truth about the past, unraveling shocking secrets along the way."

M.I.A as usual!

Hello everyone! I realize that I have been M.I.A. As most of you probably know I have been in grad school the last two years and it's been pretty time-consuming. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! I graduate in December and after this semester (which has been particularly challenging), it should be smooth sailing until graduation day!

I am still writing. Not nearly as often as I once did because in addition to being a mom, a teacher, and a cheer coach, I am also a student. Whenever I can squeeze it in though I am writing! I finished a chapter tonight which prompted me to realize that I haven't updated my website in I don't even know how long.

I'd say I'll try to do better but let's be honest, I've said that before!

I have two solo WIP...THESE BROKEN DREAMS and SOMEWHERE BETWEEN FALLING. Both are very different from each other so that's kind of fun. Autumn and I also have a little something in the works but her life is just as hectic as …
